TNW now offers a redesigned breach lock and bolt modification for
all M3-fifty-cal guns. Some of the M3 kits on the market have come
into the country with soft or damaged breach locks. While TNW has
inspected all breach locks and bolt assemblies that have gone into
our products, we have decided to implement a design change. If you
have a semi-auto M3 gun and want this change made, please contact
us.

It has come to our attention that some of the fifty caliber bolts
and breach locks are showing wear and will become deformed over
time. It is important that every time you shoot or clean your weapon
that you check for this. Below are photos showing the lock up area.
If you are not sure if your bolt or breach lock is worn then please
send them both in to TNW for a free check. We also have available
replacement bolts if yours is worn out. Another sign of wear is
that you will notice that while setting your head spacing that the
barrel is screwed in further than normal or you are splitting cases
near the rim. Always set your head spacing before shooting the weapon.
NOTE: Shooting a firearm with a worn-out bolt or breach
lock will cause catastrophic failure which will result in permanent
damage to your top cover and side plates. To date, no one has been
hurt by this, but the possibility exists. Always wear eye and hearing
protection when using any TNW product.
