There has been some "garage" gun manufactures on the internet selling 80% side plates and offering to "build" a semi .50 Cal for you. TNW has received several of these guns, and they have not been built properly. After close examination, we have had to destroy the side plates because they are made from the wrong material! This is very dangerous and illegal!

In addition, the firing mechanisms have all been poorly engineered and have been completely scrapped. These designs incorporate improper materials and will cause a gun to misfire, fire out of battery, or operate in a runaway condition!

Inspection of internet sold kits
Many customers have sent us .50 Cal M3 kits that they have purchased on the internet and asked us to build them into "semi" guns for them. Upon incoming inspection, we have found that some of them were damaged and worn-out guns prior to disassembly over seas. The areas of concern have been: cracked and deformed bolts, cracked barrel extensions, soft and deformed breach locks, shot out barrels, damaged top covers, and damaged top and bottom plates. The replacement of these items is expensive. If they would have had them built by "garage-builders" the results would have been catastrophic!
